Chicken Pulao is Hyderabadi delight famous for its incredible taste. This Chicken Pulao is easy to make and can be ready with easily available ingredients.
1 cup chicken
1 tbs garlic paste
7 to 8 green cardamom
Half teaspoon turmeric
6 to 7 green chilies
3 cup of rice
1 teaspoon garam masala
5 cup of water
4 inches ginger
5 to 6 leaf bay leaf
Half teaspoon powdered cinnamon
1 teaspoon red chili powder
4 tablespoon yogurt
Salt as required
In a bowl, add garam masala, red chilli powder, salt, turmeric powder and half of the prepared ginger-garlic paste. Mix it well. Marinate the chicken pieces and keep it aside to set for 20 to 25 minutes.
Now, Turn flame on and heat oil in a non-stick pan and add bay leaves, cardamom, cloves, cinnamon, green chilies and star anise. Mix well and add sliced onions. Heat them over a medium flame until onions turn brown.
Add the marinated chicken and cook them and mix them well. Add curd and cook.
Add rice, 5 to 6 cups of water, turmeric powder, and the ginger-garlic paste. Add salt and mix well. Let the rice be completely cooked.
When cooked, Serve the Chicken pulao.
